Audible Cover Art
This workshop was about using Adobe software to create cover art for my Audio Documentary. We were set the task of doing what we thought would look best for our Audible cover art. In this workshop we learnt about the restrictions and difficulties of making cover art for Audible, including many restrictions such as being 2400 x 2400 pixels, in a square format, with no stretching or white side banners allowed. It also had o include details such as the Title and the producers name(s). Some challenges with this workshop was using the drawing tablets to add a personal tough to the work, using the pen tool on Illustrator. This was challenging to begin with, however it got much simpler towards the end, learning more as you go along, including the shortcuts etc. I found this a fun challenge, where we were trying to make the cover art look as neat and presentable as possible. We research about what made good cover art, and we linked back to the print skills we had learned before, using colour theory in our work to make it pop as much as possible.
