Treatment and Script Writing
In this lesson we were writing out our treatments for our project, outlining what we are going to make and produce. It also allowed us to work out if the project would have been given the ‘Green Light’ We were set a form that we needed to fill in, helping us think about and work towards what we do. We learnt about the process of turning your ideas into a Treatment style plan that can be used to show if the project will work out as intended. Some challenges included writing the script later on, this was because of the use of an Interview, where I had to predict how the answers would flow, so I could work with the answers. Within the scriptwriting aspect of the project, I wrote out a rough script to follow, where I talked about what I would roughly say into the mic. My previous research into the Motor racing of Bexhill allowed me to find out a lot more about the town, and how we became the first national motor racing circuit in England, until this officially moved to the Brooklands area. Research was a big part of the project, with the more I knew about the subject being extremely useful because it would allow me to interact more withing the interview and let me go into more detail within the script.
