Intro to Advertising

In this lesson we were learning about different advertising campaigns such as coke and other brands like Nike etc.  We learnt about the hidden meanings behind the types of campaign and how they effect the viewer. We also

learnt about the role of the ASA, and how we must work with their guidelines to be able to get something from production to a final product. We looked at different rules and regulations that they do, and how they enforce it, for example how one report to the ASA can cause for an entire film to be shut down. This therefore taught us how we have to be careful to what we can and can’t do when filmmaking, yet most of it is fairly common sense.
